🏙️ Suzhou Creek is Shanghai’s mother river, and Yuyuan Road is one of the city’s most storied streets. This route links the two, alternating between “walking exploration + boat sightseeing”. Starting from the clock tower lawn on the century-old campus of East China University of Political Science and Law, you will explore historic buildings along the river and read Shanghai’s modern education history among greenery and red brick.

🌳 In the afternoon, walk beneath the plane trees on Yuyuan Road, moving between former residences of famous figures, old Western-style houses and independent cafés. Feel the literary echoes and everyday life in the streets and lanes. Then board a Suzhou Creek cruise from the former Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce pier, sail east towards Waibaidu Bridge, and arrive at the Bund Origin in the glow of sunset.

After the visit, the tour ends independently at No. 185 Yuanmingyuan Road, completing an urban stroll from riverbank to lane, from school to ferry landing.
