🌆 We recommend entering the park between 17:00 and 18:00 in the early evening. While it is still light, first stroll through the water town streets with white walls and dark tiled roofs. When the lights come on, the whole ancient town switches into romantic night-view mode.
🌉 The Misty Rain Corridor Bridge is the main highlight of the night tour. The “Night Tour God” light show takes place every evening at 19:30, 20:00, 20:30 and 21:00. Lights are projected onto the 68-metre-long ancient bridge, with lotus flowers, dragonflies, koi carp and other patterns flowing and changing with the music. During the performance, a fine mist slowly rises from the water, making the whole bridge seem to float among the clouds.
🛶 A night tour by traditional sculling boat is also not to be missed. The small boat passes through hazy water mist, while light reflections slowly spread across the surface. Immerse yourself in the classic Jiangnan water town scene of oars and lantern light. The reflection of Xianghua Bridge and the lantern corridor at Fenglai Bridge are both highly atmospheric photo spots.
🏮 We recommend visiting Hanchun Bridge and Hanchun Square to check in at the lantern wall, ring the blessing bell, and watch the fish lantern parade on the water. Then wander around the East Market bonfire fair and enjoy the special market and cute pet interactions. At weekends, there are often handicraft and intangible cultural heritage stalls, where the lively local feel of the water town blends with a relaxed atmosphere.
