Product Introduction
Please make your own way to Shanghai Film Art Centre for the meeting point, where the architect will be waiting to meet you. This walk is about 2 km in total and lasts 2.5–3 hours. Chinese and English bilingual guiding can be provided.
Starting at Shanghai Film Art Centre, you will first stop at the iconic Wukang Building. Shaped like a giant ship, this building is one of Hudec’s classic works and one of Shanghai’s urban landmarks. You will then stroll along Wukang Road, admiring the old villas along the way and experiencing the elegance of this century-old neighbourhood among the shade of plane trees and historic architecture. You will pass Wukang Pavilion, continue onwards, and finally end the tour at Yonglehui FILM Film Time Bookstore.
This is not a rushed sightseeing walk. From an architect’s professional perspective, you will explore streets and lanes through the lens of light and shadow, discover one of the most charming areas shaped by cross-boundary road construction, understand the character of historic buildings, and uncover real city stories related to film. Experience a distinctive, artistic walk through Shanghai-style architecture.
