Yulan Xiang is an old Shanghai-style restaurant in Yuyuan, founded by renowned chef Zou Bo in 2025. Inspired by Shanghai’s city flower, the magnolia, it combines the old city’s everyday atmosphere, City God Temple snacks, and the elegance of Western-style residences to reinterpret Shanghai’s century-old culinary heritage. Specialising in authentic Benbang cuisine, it recreates the flavours of old Shanghai’s streets and the warm sense of everyday life remembered by local people.
